Privacy Policy
In short: WhereIsMyHour does not collect, store or share your personal data. Everything you create in the app stays on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics and no ads.
This Privacy Policy explains how the WhereIsMyHour mobile app ("the App") and this website handle information. The App is developed and published by Thowfeek Salim ("we", "us").
1. Information we collect
We do not collect any personal information. The App has no sign-up or login, and we run no servers that receive your data.
Everything you enter in the App, such as tasks, times, notes, subtasks, completion history and settings, is stored only on your device, in the App's private storage.
2. How the App uses your data
Your data is used only on your device, to:
- show your timeline, inbox and dashboard;
- schedule reminder notifications on your device, if you turn them on;
- create PDF/CSV reports and backup files when you ask it to.
3. Backups, exports and sharing
When you use Back up now or Export, the App creates a file and opens your phone's share menu. You choose where the file goes, for example Google Drive, Files, email or a messaging app. From then on, that service's own privacy policy applies. We never receive these files.
When you use Restore from file, the App reads only the file you pick.
4. Permissions
- Notifications: used only to show task reminders that you turn on. You can turn this off at any time in the App or in your phone's settings.
- Files: the App reads or saves a file only when you pick one through the system file picker or share menu.
The App does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone or photos.
5. Third parties, analytics and advertising
The App contains no analytics, tracking or advertising tools, and we do not sell or share data with anyone.
This website does not use cookies or analytics. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of a normal web request (see Google's Privacy Policy).
6. Data retention and deletion
Your data stays on your device until you delete it. You can delete everything at any time:
- in the App: Settings → Reset all data; or
- by uninstalling the App, which removes all of its data from your device.
Backup files you saved elsewhere must be deleted from wherever you stored them.
7. Security
Your data is kept in the App's private storage, which other apps cannot read. Because no data is sent over the internet, there's no risk of it being intercepted in transit by us or our servers.
8. Children
The App is a general productivity tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
9. Changes to this policy
If we add features that change how data is handled, for example ads or optional cloud sync, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date before the change takes effect, and the App's store listing will be updated to match.
